Does anyone know if the upper spring pad for the 95 M5 touring will fit 95 E34 tourin

AFIK, they are the same diameter, just different thickness - I believe the M5 pad is only 3mm thick and probably harder.

I checked RealOEM and the lowers are the same so I assume the tops would fit..So far I have the low slung BMW springs and I am going to order the spring pads...I am now contemplating what strut inserts to buy.. I was thinking Sachs for front and rear..any input on that

I'm running Bilstein touring struts with M-Tech springs and 3mm pads, and it rides fine. I noticed a bit more high frequency inputs (feeling every pebble on the road) at first, but I also went from soft 15" snow tires to 17" tires at the same time. That might have had as much to do with it.

If you want a decent ride go with Sachs or the softer Bilstein's.
