lost primary key, second key kicks alarm

Is there anyway to disable the alarm on my e34 so I can start it with my secondary key? I need to get this thing on the road!

I don't think so. 540 alarms are hardwired into the car IIRC. You NEED the alarm key fob to disable the remote from what I have read. I once tried just unlocking my door with my key before disabling the alarm and it set the alarm off :mad
