I know this topic has been beat to death but...Just looked at the block of my M60B40 and I got the # 1 725 963 which means Nikasil. Car has 144,xxx miles but runs perfect on startup and perfect in general. Am I free and clear passed the detrimental stages of this issue?

Most people will say that if its running now, it will stay running.

only 109k on mine, but i did both compression and leakdown tests on mine and am feeling VERY confident in the long term capabilities of my nik pal. Noooo worries.

Rollin' 150k with Nikasil here. No problems.

Well, except that I need a new driveshaft. Anybody got a spare one they want to sell me?

Had a Nikasil with 160k; ran it to redline all day everyday.

If comp + leakdown numbers look good, you're in the clear..
