How much time do I have left on my tires?

I have a 328xi sport package with Bridgestone Potenzas on 18's, I was just at the dealer for routine service and they measured 6mm on all wheels. I drive half highway, half backroads, about 250-300 miles a week.

This is an impossible question to answer - there is no constant tyre wear rate formula to apply. You might be driving on 'rougher' road surfaces and hence they'll wear quicker, or the roads around where you drive might be billiard table smooth and new, like I really loved driving on in Las Vegas recently.

Just ensure you keep watching the tyre wear indicators - but as a very rough guess - i'd say 6 to 9 months.

Tires are also measured in 32nd of an inch. The wear bar indicator is at 2/32".http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=51

Thanks for the info, looks I'll be getting snow tires for the winter and some new Summer Tires next spring!
