I am now getting around to considering replacing the stock metric wheels with new (or well used) ones.

Will get 17".

However, I'm having trouble figuring out which would look the best on the car.

Which wheels (and manufacturers) are generally regarded as best? Is BBS worth the price premium? Good places to shop?

Pics of your wheels and cars would be appreciated to get a feel for the rims you've got and like.

Also, anyone selling wheels?

Thanks,
Igo

BBS wheels look fantastic. You need 17x8 or 17x8.5 offset 15 to 20. They fit mine. They make a tired old car look fast!

Here is/was my 17" forged 3-piece Fikse FM-10 setup. 235/45 tires on 8.5" fronts and 9.5" rears shod with 265/40 tires. Presently running staggered 18" Fikse FM-10's.

Here are my picks for some of the best rims for a Six in no particular order of preference: Alpina 16" or 17" open lug rims (no center caps). BBS 16", 17" 3-piece RS, or 17", 18" 2-piece LM rims. 16" AC Schnitzer 3-piece Type 1 rims. 16" Hartge 3-piece radial spokes wheels. All these were available with same width all around or staggered fitments.

Sixer rims galore! http://www.pacificsharkfest.com/pics/image001.html

Nice look. I actually prefer that look to mine. Do you get scrubbing issues in the front at ful lock? Oh, what brakes are you running front and rear? What size are those brembo's? (330mm??).

No rubbing or scrubbing at all during full lock. Yes, the front rotors are 332x32mm. Running E34 M5 rear brakes...300x20mm vented rotors with matching calipers.
