Going to purchase a 90 degree elbow to do our own oneball in the garage on my 06 R53, was wondering if anyone knows the diameter I need to get before I get under the car and start measuring?
Thanks in advance.

This will be difficult as the transition needs to be in two directions. A simple elbow won't fit correctly as it also needs to be bent down a bit to match up with the muffler.

Cool, I'll let the muffler shop figure it out, thanks.
Do you like the oneball on your car?

Yep, can't justify getting a new exhaust when this is good for me. Not as loud as the aftermarket ones, but still sounds nice and very cheap.

For future reference if anyone stumbles across this thread, the stock is about 2.25" diameter.
Several of the skilled "oneball" installers actually cut and reuse a section of the pipe from the split to the removed resonator to weld in the new spot so it doesn't really require much (or any) new pipe.

I'm probably going to do this mod this summer as well. Let me know how much it ends up costing you and if there is anything I need to let the shop know before I do it.

Cost will depend on the shop.....anywhere from $50-100. Nothing really needs to be to difficult. If you can get the car on a lift so the shop can see what needs to be done it should be very straight forward. If not, just do a search on NAM for a diagram of what needs to be done. There are some great images to help you out available.
