What is this part?

Brought home the M62 today :buttrock and I was picking through it and found this little thing sitting down on the intake:

It has a thread piece of plastic with a clear tube on the other end encased in a metal snake like surrounding.

The picture made me realize I need a new point and shoot.

+1, Definitely one of those, probably throttle because the cruise control does a 90° elbow.

+1 for throttle cable. Someone must not have been able to figure out how to detach it so they clipped it.

I did that to a prelude in a junkyard once. Felt bad for whoever may need that cable after I was done picking my parts.
