Hey, was wondering if anyone might be able to recommend a decent, low price place for wheel alignment in the Chicagoland area? I lowered my 1992 e34 front end by cutting the springs and now my alignment is slightly off. Thanks

Just be wary, a lot of people on this forum are against cutting springs so be prepared to hear some opinions.

Depends if one did it the right way or the wrong way! Usually cutting springs isn't a bad thing, if you don't cut too many coils, keep it to a max of 1coil cut and it really will not effect anything to the bad.

I was just giving him the heads up..... i personally don't like the idea just for legality sakes.

Alignment is not rocket science on these cars. Only the toe can be adjusted.

Apparently it is rocket science because i've called 3 places and none of them have the "tool" needed to do a bmw.

Did mine using the string setup. Definitely not rocket science. But it help if you are good at MATH.
Yeah a lot of places are scared to do bmw alignments for some reason. Only special tools i think they need are the weights that are distributed around the inside of the car (hardly special). Just get a full tank of fuel and go for the alignment.
+1 on its only toe adjustable, any alignment place can do this.
