--Mods please leave for a little bit, i just broke my shoulder and can't drive my car, now I really need to sell her :(--, and yes, this is a double post from my for sale thread...
This has been my project car for the past 2 years. It just passed Texas inspection with no problems. I've put tons of time into this baby and learned an incredible amount. Now I am looking to sell it to buy a smaller car slightly more practical dd car. Below is a list of everything involved in the turbo build. Under the hood is not the prettiest, but all of the parts are top of the line, so this is really function over form at its best. I don't race this car, i really just started this build because I was interested in tinkering with it (yep, nerdy engineer).
I have it running very conservatively right now at around 6psi, it should be very safe to run up to 11psi, I just havn't had the time to check the tune at that level. Trust me, this thing kicks though, as it is, but haves tons of potential left. I pulled my first car in it today, one of the newer Vettes, he beat me by about half a length, but boy the look on his face was priceless, seeing this '89 BMW with a roof rack keep right up with his $50,000 car. :redspot
I'm in Waco, TX right now and will consider trades plus cash for VW TDI (ideally mk IV golf), a clean e36 m3 or a mostly stock 04-06 STI. Maybe others, let me know what you have. I'm really not that desperate to sell, just seeing whats out there. I also don't mind driving and meeting somewhere. Car has 190K miles on it. Enough rambling, here are the facts...

50mm Tial BOV $220
38mm Tial Wastegate $220
Bilstein HD struts $320
H&R sport springs $230
3.5 inch custom V-band exhaust
Biggest intercooler that would fit $80
Prosport Gauges ~$120
Assorted silicone couplings and SS T-clamps ~$150
3.93 LSD rear end swapped in (thing rips!)
Maintenance Items
Brand new battery
Brand new hood struts, front and rear roundel
2000 miles on tires
2000 miles on starter
2500 miles on windshield (professionally replaced)
Brand new headgasket (and associated gaskets)
New oilpan gasket
New tranny bushings etc.
All synthetic fluids
The Bad
Slight coolant leak
Missing rear drivers side door card
Drivers door lock doesn't work
Temp sensor sometimes heat soaks and causes a rough idle
Fuel and temp gauge occasionally dont work (just needs new capacitor)
No AC
Clear coat peeling, paint isn't perfect, has a few chips, etc.
