I'm ready to upgrade my suspension from stock (yes,I searched). Looking for input/feedback from any members currently running the boges/billie sport combo on their 540i or other e34 models. How is the ride for a daily driver? I'm looking for a ride close to stock with that lowered, raked look.

We're talking some big money here, so I want to choose carefully the first time.

I run Bilsteins Sports / Bavauto springs, 17" wheels. On smooth / semi smooth pavement the ride and handling is great. It's 'like it's on rails'. Rough pavement, potholes, expansion joints is another story. Bang bang bang goes the front end. I also had to get custom spacers made for the rear springs because the Bavs lowered it too much, looked goofy with the tuck and the RR tire would rub over bumps.

Run billies and H&R's. On rails and looks good, but bumps are another story... relatively smooth otherwise.

I run Billie sports, H&R's. Relatively smooth until bumps... really feel them. Like its on rails, so its worth the difference. I paid about $400 for frt/rears. You'll also need to replace the frt strut mounts with an ftermarket brand heavy duty. I went through 2 sets before I realized...
