swap in an s52 :) hahah. not really. but yes. The shark injector is widely believed to be the best bang for your buck for these cars.

Yes I have one, I just answered this question today. Please search/read before posting.

It really doesn't do much to an un-modded car... not worth the extra $$ IMO. Raises the rev limiter and adjusts fuel maps or something... do some research, there is tons of info about it out there.

I put one in my 99 528i M52TU. I think it made the engine run a little smoother, but I can't say the car felt more powerful. Could be more powerful, but just not enough to feel. You would need to get up around 10% power increase to feel it. That would take more mods. One mod that would make your car noticeably faster is a 3.46 diff from an automatic 99-03, at the expense of a few mpg.

i believe it to be a good mod for when you combine it with headers, intake, pulley kit...etc. There is a video on youtube of an E46 328i with headers, with and without shark injector, and there was actually a nice gain with the headers once the shark injector was added .... so it all depends, when modding an N/A car, its alot harder to "feel" the gains of a single mod than when modding an F/I car .... its like the intakes, on an N/A car its merely impossible to feel gains from an intake (even though sometimes they are actually there), put a high flow intake on an F/I car and I can guarantee you will always FEEL the gain in horse power.

+1 to both..
Back in the day, I had a '97 528i (M52B28, non TU) and I would say it "felt" different, not sure if I actually gained any power? It did raise the rev limiter and I had a RevHigh (Roadfly guy) cone intake, so maybe the combination made a difference other than just the Shark??
