Just today, i went to go lock my car after driving home and my car made the alarm sound when you try to lock it with a door open. I opened every door include the trunk and hood then closed them, but it still made the same sound. The weird thing is this morning it worked fine, i went for another drive a few hours later, but the same problem still occurred. Hope you guys can help me out
Thanks

My first step would be to disconnect the battery for a half hour to reset the computer system.

Then check your door lock strikers. One of the little buttons in them could be stuck.

i checked the door strikers they seem to be fine, and the car locks manually with the key and its fine, and the cabin lights go off when i start the car signifying the doors are closed, so now i will wait to see if reseting the computer does me any good.
Thanks for your Help

Sometiems the lever on the hood microswitch needs to be bent up very judiciously so it makes contact reliably. If you're not mechanical, and don't see exactly where that bend should occur, please seek assistance.

i took out the battery 2 hrs and replaced it with a new battery but the car does the same thing, the remote still responds to the car, yet it still makes the beeping noise
