I'll be there with Bridgestone. God, I hate F'in SEMA, especially now that they got lax on letting all the so called "tuners" in. Nothing more than a bunch of kids who want to get "sponsored" in import drag and Hot Import Nights. Get the kids out and the show will be a good thing for the real industry again.

Somebody get me a pass. I've never been to it.

At least I'm at least partially responsible for all of the JTD stuff :)

I need to call the Ignition Solution guys and get some passes, I guess.

i never went to sema show b4...
isnt it like a 5 day event...

yah i agree with u bmlracer...the whole import scene has
become more of a kid show now...seeing lil 16-17 year olds
trying to have sponsors...and not to mention the lil
early teen 'models' they have nowadays...i remember
that one of my friends friend hit on this one chick...
and found out she was 14!!!...and he told me she acted
like a lil hoe!...eeww disgusting...!!!!

If I score some tickets, who's up for going? Don't know how many we can pile into the M3 or one hotel room, but I'm up for it.

Sounds great. I'm sure DDD or one of the regulars could set it up. I live all the way up in the hills in north SD county so I'm lousy at setting these up. The SD group had one at Mission Bay that went great. I have asked when they would have another but haven't gotten an answer. I'd suggest bringing it up at the next Wheel Power Sunday Brunch.

I want to do SEMA too. But with no notice it almost has to be a pile-up in a few hotel rooms. They're usually booked all up.

This year may be different with the terrorist shit.

You don't like Chula Vista?!? I'm gonna cut you girl! :)

I think a caravan would be cool. Nothing like Chinese fire drills on the side of 15, swapping drivers, passengers and CDs.

I was just teasing with you. Chula Vista has a bad rep for some reason. I've never had any problems with it or National City. NC is an area that has a rep for gang issues and stuff. El Cajon gets looked down on too.

I guess I'm unfazed by it, growing up poor and in gangs. I don't even really see any down side when I go through some of these places.

My wife (rich Republican family) and kids freak over some of the places I go without a second thought.

Last week was like that. We were driving through an area east of Balboa Park. Not a bad place, not a good place.....

These two Hispanic kids with shaved heads and baggy pants were working on their car and I just pulled over to help them since they were broken down. I couldn't help with the car, it was broken really well but I let them use my cll phone to call for help and gave them a ride down the street to Mickey D's so they could wait for a ride.

Afterward 'June Cleaver' went whacko. Sigh...
