Hi guys,
I just built my m20b27 stroker for my e30. Comp. is about 8.3:1, i plan on running a gt35r, and for software i plan on using the Miller W.A.R. Chip with the maf conversion and 30lb. injectors. Problem is, i cannot find much info on the w.a.r. chip. Will this suit my needs? Someone said use a TCD chip but then i need to manage the extra fueling on my own because the tcd doesn;t adjust fuel tables. How would i do that? with an Adjustable FPR?
And mainly, if i do use the w.a.r. chip or even MS, where is good info for learning how to tune? I have been reading through posts and am grabbing some info but is there a place where it's spelled out clearly whats what? I am not a noob and have a good understanding of things, i just need to find out where the info is.
Thanks Guys!

I can get you conatct info of customers using the war chip. The good thing about the war chip for your application is the fact we can provide suitable base tunes so that a lot of the tuning work is already done. Also, we can help you tune and give you advice as you need it.
The WAR chip software is straight forwad too. Because the base tune is already provided, a simple understanding of how an engine work, and a few principles of tuning, you'll be able to massage the base map out. Heck we have a handful of 60+ year olds tuning thier cars and ifyou knew how much I had to coach them on how to use a computer you'd wonder how on earth they are tuning, but they are and are very happy playing with thir cars!
Feel free to call me tomorrow with any questions about the WAR chip or tuning questions you may have.

that's an answer i was looking for, thanks.
Now the War chip can also edit fuel tables correct? This would negate the need for a RRFPR or FMU right?
I just want to be sure that it can handle my needs, without me having to buy a whole parts list of stuff that i could use without the war chip.
Also your base tune, will be for a m20b27 with "i" top end using a gt35r, or is it just a generic turbo tune with retarded timing and more fueling?

Absolutely. A rrfpr is a terrible way to tune. They work, but work is a relative term.
The war chip gives you control of fuel and ignition for idle, p/t, WOT, idle speed, rpm limit and O2 sensor control for the m20. Soon we will have speed limit control implimented into the software too.

awesome, and will updates to the software be included in initial purchase or will it be added cost? I've been on your site, is the tuning software a downloadable program or is it only available in the "members" area of your site?

We actually have a base tune for your exact engine set up.
The software is updated for free. The software comes preloaded on the war chip now in the form of a set up wizard.
