Would an original BMW set of E46 wheels fit on a Z3 '97 Roadster ?

Details: 17" Front 225/17/40 Rear 245/17/40

I have seen these advertised in fairly new condition at a good price and am seriously considering going for them.

Sorry, havn't found a way I can upload a pic yet :confused

Similar rims are being advertised on E-Bay and it says they do fit a Z3 and various other BMW models........wtf ????

You will need to confirm which offset you have, that is the one thing that can get you. BMW's all use the same bolt pattern for the 5 lug wheels, 5 x 120. You can usually go up one wheel diameter and drop a tire series size. If you had 215/50/16 you can probably go to 225/40/17. Check Tire Rack's website you can enter the exact car you have and the car donating the wheels and make sure they are compatible. Good luck, a little bigger wheel typically gives a much better look. I just put Z4 wheels on an E36 and they look great.
