Watch from :45 to the end.

My car does this exact same thing... when coming to a stop, or putting in the clutch it bounces then levels out and idles just fine.

Any remedy's or DIY fixes, and cant seem to find any clear results in Search.

BTW I have no CEL

That is pretty normal when coasting to a stop. It is to help prevent your valves from burning when the mixture in your engine is too lean. It does look a bit rough sort of how mine was. To help fix this you can try cleaning your IACV which there is a tutorial in the how to section. Then also putting some seafoam after can help too.

I am assuming it is alright given there is no CEL.

IACV or ICV?? ICV=idle control valve... what is IACV?

Its the same thing. Same people say Idle Air Control Valve, some same Idle Control Valve.

Here is the guide I used. I cleaned the valve and my throttle body and noticed a nice increase in throttle response as well as smoother idle and during those braking periods.

Make sure you drain the valve out good if you decide to spray cleaner in it or rinse it out. I was gonna put it back in when I started to shake it and heard a sloshing sound. Took another 5 minutes to get it drained out. But yeah when I took it out the valve was somewhat hard to move using just a finger. After cleaning the valve would "float in place" rather than be stuck in place with grease and whatnot.

I think that your car is just opposed to the inner city funk rap music. LOL! Just kidding.

I actually have an idle problem that I've been fighting ever since I installed my M3 cams, and I already cleaned my ICV. Good idea posting the video. I'm gonna do that too.

So you have no MIL codes right? Or any other codes that are showing on your scanner?

Also make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks. And if you haven't already replaced your primary O2 sensors, you may as well change 'em out and see if that helps.

That video is exactly what my car was doing. It would constantly bounce and almost stall out. I had the intake manifold out while I was changing the clutch and decided to clean the ICV. Like Pacific808 said it now "floats". It was pretty nasty inside. I prefer MAF cleaner instead of throttle cleaner. It is designed not to leave any residue and evaporates quickly. I found a couple vacuum hoses that were bad. One was a very small diameter one on the back of the fuel rail. Its hard to get to unless the intake is out. I never would have found it otherwise but it was badly cracked and about to break in two.

I also found the elbow after the MAF was toast. It had a big crack on the underside where the ASC tube fits in. You never would have seen it unless you pulled the elbow or used a flashlight and a mirror.

When I got it all back together it was much better but still bounced a bit. I tightened up the clamp where the rubber elbow connects to the throttle body after I found air was getting past it and it is 99% fixed. I still get a single bounce when I come to a stop but I can live with that.
