Strange Window Problem

Quick back story.. I went to clean the inside of my car today. rolled down the windows cleaned car and i went to put them back up and no switch worked. Put the key into the door and they rolled up fine. So I know the motors are getting power. Grabbed some spare switched and went to test and nothing. swapped body control module nada.

Any ideas BFC?

rob, i dont have my windows working at all so its a little bit of a big problem, sunroof does not work either

check the fuses. I bet the sunroof has a bad fuse. For the drivers window does it inch down when you open the door or does it stay completely closed?

You may get lucky and solve it by re calibrating the window motor. If the windows are all the way up push and hold the up button all the way for about 20 seconds. Then try and roll it down with the button. If it goes down get it all the way down and hold the down button all the way for the same 20 seconds.

i check all the fuses ect. the window does the inching when opened or closed. i tried to recalibrate them but nothing.

Fried wiring? If the fuses are good, trace the wires back to the window for problems. Or just run a wire from the battery to the switch..

mine do the same thing..the sunroof, and windows...its super irritating
ive checked everything except for the actual window regulator but i dont think theres anything wrong with them bc they inch up and down like yours
and now its starting to get hott..(i live in cali) it sucks..a lot
i have to sit in heat for 2 minutes waiting for the ac to cool my car
