Fitting new 02 sensors, will fault go without reset?

As the title says...

Will the car pick the new pre-cat lambda sensors and adjust itself or do I need to get the fault reset before it actually pick them up?

I'm not sure, but I think it resets itself. Just reset after you install them if the light doesn't go out on it's own.

Depends on the code and the failure. If it's a hard failure, like a heater circuit, the light should do out first time, and the code will clear from history after xx successful tests. If it's a mixture code, it will take a while to clear... assuming the O2 was the problem.
