Hey guys, If it isn't raining, I'll be replacing my rear control arms to correct negative camber this weekend.

I'm going to do this myself, but I would like to get a general idea about having the camber somewhat correct, until I take my car in during the week.

Any ideas, advice?

You can put a carpenet's square (L shaped, about 12 x 24") against the tire and measure the angle of the tire versus the ground.

some people have string and all kinds of tricks but in the end you will always be out of the Specifications and it will never be exact...you dont know how small of a movement effects the alignment, i suggest taking it to an alignment shop

Wouldn't this be a false measure though.
When the car is lifted, there is no weight on the wheels making them sort of camber positive, right?

I will absolutley have the alignment done, but would like to get them in the vicinity when I replace the Rear Camber Control Arms.

Use the Carpenters square with the suspension loaded. 3/8" over 20" is supposed to be about 1 degree.
