89 525i vs 1990 525i

OK I know early 1989 was the bastard e34 but I have on with low miles that could use a couple things AC, Sunroof parts and other little annoying small things. I have a line on a 1990 5spd with a bad motor CHEAP. Is there a website to find out which parts are interchangable.

Most everything should be interchangable. They are both M20 cars, they both should have the same parts. The 89's aren't really bastard E34s...the M20 cars were all pretty much the same.

Unless they are optioned differently they are exactly the same.

Boost that M20 and you will have an ear to ear grin on your face everytime you stomp on the gas. :)

Yep. I vote swap the good M20 into the new car. Then part out other car. And either get a second car for beating on or boost that M20. I strayed for about a year and I'm very happy to be back to an M20 motor.
