I have looked in the DIY section and i have not seen anything for removing the windshield and drip rail moulding. Has anybody takin these pieces off? If so could i get some insight on this. I'am gonna be painting my 525i soon and i want as many paint lines as possible hidden behind moulding. I know how to remove the rest of the moulding on her.

Thank ya'll for ant help..

The Keyword is Carefully. I had to replace mine. I didn't have anything. The issue isn't really getting them off. With a little gentle effort....again GENTLE EFFORT you can get them off. Putting them on correctly without exposing or breaking the clips is a PITA.

My suggestion, unless you trust your judgement on when to and how much pressure to use. I'd tape them up or paint over them.

When I replaced mine I broke a couple underlying clips. But with a flat head screwdriver, some silicon caulk, 2" masking tape, and some elbow grease you can place the trim back on flush.
