tire and wheel warranty

I am going to get bmw 335xi. It has 17" rims on the car. Do i need tire and wheel warranty for 17" rims? I live in Nj, however I don't have too many potholes in my area, and i dont drive all that fast. Thank you!

If you do get make sure you triple check it covers the run flats. I made the mistake on my last car. I was sold a warranty that covered 15-16" passenger tires, when I drove with 18" high performance tires? :confused. My fault for not checking. Shame on me. However, you'll never use the wheel warranty. You have to hit a pot hole pretty hard to get the rim to stop holding air. However, if you would like to replace tires with RFTs, then buying the 400-600 warranty would pay for itself with 1 nail on one tire. but you could always plug or patch it for cheap.

I say save your money.
