I have the oppurtunity to get these at a great price, my buddy gets a corporate discount at tire kingdom and it'll run me about 475 for the set. I've been lookig at the bfgoodrich g force sports an the hankook ventus v12's but these will be over 100 bucks cheaper. How is the road noise and tread wear. Let me know, I want to purchase some tires for my new rim that are on the way.

They are great so far, very sticky, will last longer than the Hankooks, I have both on different cars

I put a new set of these on my S2k last fall and loved them, I sold the car about a month ago and the current owner remarked to me recently how much he liked the tires.
I am considering another set to replace the run flats on my new Mini Cooper S.

I have only had the HTRZ IIIs, but the tires are very sticky, and about tire noise.. well I can't hear my tires cus other things are too loud:D .They last (relatively) long.
They're pretty good in the rain too, but in the dry they rip for their price!

Very good tires for the price. Once my bridgestones RE050 wears out, i will be purchasing a set of these tires. Though i have to admit the RE050 seems to stick better with minimal road noise compaired to the HTRZ IIIs. then again its double the price :(

i work for the Tire Kingdom Corp. (National Tire & Battery, same thing).
i wanted get the Pilot Sport Cup, but i know they wear out quicker then any other tires. My boss told me that the HTR ZIII would last longer and are pretty good. plus they are only $162 with road hazard and everything (fronts only 225/45R17). im not sure about pricing on the rears. the good thing at least it's not directional and can be cross rotated (if running a staggered setup like me).
i can get more info about the tire at work, plus i see the damn tire everyday.
I have a set on the front. Not too loud, seems to have potential to last a long time. However, the insides are almost worn out after not even 10k miles.
They have a pretty circular sidewall (kinda like Continentals) so personally, not the best looking sidewall. But that's minor. It's a really good tire for the price.
