I changed the battery and the code card for the radio i got with the car is not the right one. I must have been replaced at one time. Is there a way to unlock it?
Thanks Bob

I've seen rare instances where the PO has taped the code to the top or back of the radio, so you may get lucky in that respect, but you'll have to pull the radio out of the dash to get the serial number. Armed with that and the last seven of your vin, call your local dealer and the should be able to provide you with the code. Then, write it down or tape a card with the number to the back of the radio...

i took a sharpie and just wrote it on the deck itself in 3 places...
If someone is THAT concerned about stealing a stock TAPE deck...
Go ahead :redspot
BTW a dealer might tell you, you have to pay to get that code. Tell him to go F himself. 2 dealers tried to get me for 36 bucks :grr

Call Jackie Cooper BMW in OKC and ask for a service advisor and they will give it you over the phone. They will need the numbers on the metal plate on the back of your radio and not the vin. Got one a few weeks ago.
