Mystery Plug

Okay found this plug in the back under the jack in my touring. I imagine it is in the sedan too.

What do you guys think it could be? I believe it is bunched up with the wires for the brake lights, reverse, etc. But I'm not certain.

There are scores of un-used plugs all over the harnesses in these cars. BMW used the same harness for different markets and different options.

Yeah. I'm trying to retrofit a PDC unit and wondering if it is the plug for the reverse to activate the PDC. Can't find any info online.

easy way to find out, meter it when you put the car in reverse.

I found the either the radio MUTE or the Phonebook advance way back there too. (i joined them so phonebook muted the stereo.)
