But I do have an e36 m3.
http://i390.photobucket.com/albums/oo348/mikemxbike4/DSCN2910.jpg
I will be back in an e34 though. Might take me a little while, but the next one on my list to get would be e34 m5 or maybe 540/6.
I'm not baller enough yet to afford having more than 1 car at a time lol.
I will be on the boards though to chat with my e34 friends(you guys:)).

Tires are all the way against the fenders on the m3. You can't stick a credit card in between. Picture doesn't show it at all.
PO gave it a really nice stance.
Those wheels are only 15mm offset!!!PLUS the spacers.

Car handles like it's on rails, which is what I expected. Motor pulls very strong.
Yes, it is on Bilstein pss-9 coilovers and BBS RSII's+spacers

I didn't buy it if that is what you're thinking, the previous owner of the M3 has it. The car, as seen from the M3, is in good hands.

Damn dudes...
Put the black trim on though, for sure. The paint on the rear is definitely a little bit flawed. I think the black trim is what sets the car off to begin with. Looks like the front mesh could be replaced/redone. Like the wheels though (get the center caps!)
Yea i would paint the trim black. Was this car ever tracked? Is it just the stock S52? Looks like a hell of a lot more fun than an m20 525i

I'm sure I will. You gave her a great stance man. I think I'm going to leave the sleeves out of rear suspension because the stance is just right.
Id did feel weird today when I walked into gagage and saw her in there instead of e34.
Can't wait to see what you do to the 5er. I think I'm going to get strut braces for the M as the next mod.

I was in the middle of researching widening the BBS's to 9.5 up front and 10 in the back. If we hadnt traded, that was the next phase. After that, addressing the little imperfections on the body and faux carbon fiber roof.
As for the 5, I'm researching some wheels on felgen garage and wokke's sites... but before making the commitment, I need to find a set of decent coilovers... has anyone ever done an E38 seat swap? Or retrofitted E46 memory seats? Got a few ideas lol

Wider wheels would be sick. I want to fix the mesh asap though and get new roundells lol.

The 5 has kinda let me down 3x today... each time, it has difficulty starting- turns over but doesnt start. It finally does but only after a prayer, a few attempts, and a few strong expletives. Kinda embarassing leaving work, and taking the girl home after dinner tonight... I really dont think its the "loose contacts" in the ignition mechanism that u told me it was... otherwise it shouldnt even crank? Is there something else I should know? After the malfunctioning windshield washer, stuck rear window switches, vague/loose steering feel, broken passenger heated seat, major chips on the windshield, etc.... I really don't want any more "little surprises," Mike. Help!

Tony, from what I have been told, there is a separate circuit in the ignition that powers the ECU. I'm sorry to hear about your trouble, but I really can't see any other places the problem could be coming from. The heated seat worked fine when last used/checked. Switches for the window just need cleaning as windows themselves go up and down fine if you use switches on the door. Again, I'm sorry for the trouble you are having and I hope they get resolved without any major hassle.
PS, the random no-start issue never happened to me more than once per day(maybe once a week), otherwise I'd get more into the problem myself so I can comfortably drive the car on daily basis.

Its weird to me, I went the opposite way of most people on here. I had an E36 M3, then found out how nice a 5 is to have as a DD. I personally only want a 3 around anymore for a weekend toy. For me it was too small as a DD.
Nice E36 though, please do get black moldings, the E36, IMHO, does not look good with painted moldings.

Mike sorry to see you go to the dark side. Enjoy it though :)
Tony, that is not much of a list. You've got a pretty sweet 5 with a pretty impressive suspension. Also, as I'm sure you are aware, e34's are significantly higher on the head turn meter. Your efforts with that care will be rewarded. my .02
