so some help rolling my fenders flat?
I got the tool comin this weekend. I tried borrowing a buddies 2 weeks ago but on his the pressure handle bolt was stripped and was rigged. It seems our fender are very thick and I couldn't get much pressure on the fender. I was also trying to roll from the outside in, which now watching some youtube videos that seems incorrect...
I guess my question is how much pressure did you have to apply? I know this hard to quantify, but did you have to put a lot on it? Am I doing something wrong? I am kinda concerned because I do not want to break the rented tool...
CARS WITH STIF FENDER LIP
European, Classic, and some American Muslce cars are known to have stronger (stiff) design/material fender lip compared to average newer Japanese Cars (Soft metal fender lip with "L" shape that can easily be rolled)
Please apply pressure slowly w/ care, gradually section by section to prevent damage or bent the tool by putting too much stress http://www.rollyourfender.com/brokentool.html
By the way i have already grinded out most the seller inside the lip..
Ours seem way more difficult then this:
