:helpI know this is a noob question, but what all cars have wheels that will fit an e36? I'm looking in to getting some new wheels, but don't know what will and won't fit. And I did try the search button....with no results.

Thanks in advance,
Derek

Did a search for "Wheels that fit E36" and got this.

Main point is that any wheel will fit, some with more work.
Any E36 wheel will bolt right up without any other work.
E39 wheels have a larger center bore but you can use with a hub-centric ring, they are low offset so you may have to stretch the tire a bit and roll the fenders if you are lowered.
All others work just watch for offsets. et 40-30 all good. et 20 on an 8" wheel sits flush with fender. Widths should stay in the 7 to 8 range for easy mounting.
Bolt pattern is 5X120 on all. Unless its four lug.

To keep things simple E36 and E46 wheels are interchangeable. The only exception would be going to 16" wheels on a car like a 335.
