did you mean rs? because the rc is a one piece wheel

Perhaps you have RSII's? they look KINDA like RC's so maybe thats where the confusion is comming from..

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0a/BBS_RS764.JPG

Either way NO like Kosta Said RC's are one piece so nowhere to bolt a lip; and RSII's while they are two piece, have only 16 bolts compared to the RS's ~35 so in either case it will not work, sorry.

On the up side if you have a set of 17" RS lips laying around you might be sitting on some money... GL!

No sir... Style 5's they are... MUCH better then an RC IMHO

ok so Beak it down; if you wanna know have read your BBS wheel code under your center cap....it will be something like "8J x 16 h2 et11" and they will say the series/production BBS RS005 ect

-"8J" refers to the Width in this case its 8in
-"16H2" refers to the size again here its 16in
-"et11" is your offset in MM ... 11mm here (if you dont know what offset is 'google')
-If you know your series "RS005" you can look up the exact specs on your wheels here ===> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBS_Wheel_Library#BBS_LM

:facepalm

"style 5's" are BBS RC090 :rolleyes

op, no you can't put RS lips on them, because your wheels are 2pc

your lip and barrel are welded together, and the center can be seperated

Maybe he means RC041s/RC042s? As they are more common in UK, stock on the sport 328i's?

what is the face diameter and number of bolts of the 5's? you might be able to make them 3 piece with new lips and barrels, but it would cost you a ton. i was also thinking that maybe the 5 faces would fit on LM barrels or super RS, i think the bolt number is different though.

They're 34 bolt.

Style 5's have been made into 3-piece before. The barrel/lip are separated, and a custom lip is made. The inner barrel isn't changed in the ones I've seen. There's a place in Europe that was advertising the conversion. It's very expensive... buying a set of RS's is cheaper.

so if they are 34 bolt, 17" RS lips/barrels could work? or is the face not the same diameter? (13"?) cause you can get 5x114.3 RS anywhere, and they are cheap, buy some 5's that are all curbed up. then swap out the RS faces for the 5's??? could work? maybe? it gets me thinking

ofcourse you can exchange the faces, but why would you?

I'd rather have RS than RC's :dunno

i would rather have RS as well, but 17" 5x120 rs is harder to find and more expensive than a set of 5x114.3
