Hey guys I am looking for some relatively inexpensive wheels. I really like the CSL replica but would prefer to keep 17inch and not staggered. The car is stock and I don't really want to alter it too much at this point. I am not sure if the 18's would even fit. I would assume the contours and ds1 would fit. Maybe someone can help me out. Thanks.

OEM wheels are the way to go. Any wheel that comes on an E36 will work. Most any BMW wheel works with some exceptions (E39 wheels work but you need Hub-centric rings).
Jump on CL and you can find all kinds of cool OEM wheels. (I know because I am addicted to OEM BMW and VW wheels, right now I have 42 wheels)
I think 17 is the way to go.

You can fit any wheel size all the way up to 19's, that's all depending on the offset/tire size/etc. etc.
I don't know if weight matters to you, but if it doesn't then just go with the replica CSL's. Browse the wheels for sale on the forum or EBAY/craiglist.
Or get some Koseis, they're light and cheap.
