Will steelies work???! Help

I have a 1987 325IS. Right now i have the 14" oldschool bbs stock wheels on. I am wanting to get some wide steelies from a local guy but he was afraid i might have to shave down my front brake calipers, or get spacers. is this true, or will they work fine?

will work fine, you'll need to roll the fenders though

No it didnt work fine ha, i had to shave down the front brake brackets, and i didnt need to roll the fenders. a pretty big pain, but it was worth it, looks sooo good!
