looking to get square 18x9.5 CSL reps from VR
<table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="1"><tbody><tr><td class="black_normal_text" align="center" bgcolor="#edeef2" height="41">18 x 9.5</td> <td class="black_normal_text" align="center" bgcolor="#edeef2">5 x 120</td> <td class="black_normal_text" align="center" bgcolor="#edeef2">22 / 33 / 45</td> <td class="black_normal_text" align="center" bgcolor="#edeef2">72.6</td></tr></tbody></table>
this is the offset availibility. will it work, I am on ground control w no camber kit.
Yes.. But you need camber plates IMO. I'm running BC Racing Coilovers, with camber plates. -2.8 Camber in the Front. A buddy of mine is going to sell me his VMR CSL reps, staggered setup. Gonna use em just for an extra set to roll around in :D

VMR VB3's: 18x9.5 +33 / 19x10 +38. Fenders are rolled/pulled in the rear. Pictured with a 5mm spacer in the rear too, but it was already rubbing, so I would have to run the rears w/o spacers.. dangit! :evil2

Depending on what offset you choose, you are going to need to run wheel spacers in order to get a 9.5" wheel to clear. I ran a set of 18x9 et45 all around on my e36 M3 and the front wheels BARELY cleared with a 10mm spacer. And that was on stock ride height.

Front: 18x9.5 33mm offset with a 235/40 tyre stretched will just fit. You will need camber plates or shims added for extra camber if you want to sit low.
You could run 255/35/18 tyres up front if you are after performance and willing to sit a smidge higher of roll the outter lip.
For the rear. You'd need to go the 45mm offset if you want it slammed with wide rubber. You'll be able to fit 265/35 on the back with that offset. If you went with 33mm matching offset rims on the front you'll be forced to run stretched 235/40's

Whoa, that one pic with them looks crazy. Looks like too much wheel for the E36. What are u trying to do that you need a 9.5" wheel up front?
I think right at 8-8.5 is about the most superb for handling/performance or is this just looks, or stance, whatever they call it. Either way, stretching a tire isn't very safe, some is okay.
