Hi,

I've bought a PA Soft 1,36 with cable. Also bought an Startech USB to COM converter, which according to others SHOULD work. My PC does not have COM port, all though I have ordered one that does. But it would be nice if I could get it working with USB.

I am getting the "Hardware not ready - Try again" - message. I've been working a bit around with the port settings, but can't seem to make it work. My car is a 750i E38 with a M73 engine.

I have also tried with PA Soft 1,4 - and this can't connect either :-(
Have searched in here and googled around as well. Can't seem to find the solution even though I can see I am not the first person with this issue!

Any suggestions??

I've had the same problem. I've done everything that I can think of, including borrowing a computer with an actual serial port, but nothing has helped. I've kind of given up on it, but if you find a solution, please let us know.

Baud rate is set to 9600 ... Not sure what they call packet settings in a danish Windows 7 :D A screenshot of what they should be like would help a lot
