finally bmw!

just got my first bmw, its a 1993 325is 5 speed black on black. I bought the car with a blown engine for $500 and had a m52b28 installed. In all i spent about $2000 for the car and the m52 install. This has always been a favorite car of mine and after owning one i like it even more. The m52 pulls real nice with the m50 intake manifold even though i havent let it completely loose yet. I figure the engine needs some break in time... I'm estimating about 220 crank hp with the mods i have which are catback exhaust, short ram intake and obd1 m50 conversion. dyno will come after I chip it and maybe i'll be keeping up with the e36 m3s... what are some other not too expensive mods?

the cheapest way to make the car faster is not to bolt on parts but to reduce weight pull all sound mats put manual seats insted of eletric then find yourself a 338 lsd that will do for now

Looks good, sounds like a nice pickup. It might be the camera but to me it looks like you need to clean up your headlights or upgrade them :buttrock cuz they are dirty!

Nice lip. Im sure more people like me will want more info on it. Nice find on the car. Welcome to the forum. Ive had a 95 325 coupe for a year now and still get the same thrill as the first day on corners. On/Off ramps are now fun. The sharper the radius the better.

OP, how much lower does the lip sit compared to the bumper w/out it? I kinda want one, but I don't want to do it if I'm gonna destroy it on the first dip.

Yeah, I've seen the lip on ebay before.. I bought a new bumper, fog lights, and lip for $75. It was an awesome deal so I bought it. Since I have two bumpers I'm cutting and refabing the other one right now. I'm cutting out all the cross braces or whatever they are and refabricating it and painting. I like the way it looks right now but I think it might look better. That is not the camera making the headlights look foggy its for reals. I work way too much thats the only reason they aren't restored yet. So far I've had one day off to work on the car and I put a starter in and then went fishing. I've been having alot of problems with this car but it's finally subsiding. I replaced the starter yesterday and the radiator a few days ago but now the engine is settling in and I can feel bmw at work.

I am also planning on clear corners and maybe a little yellow tint on the fogs in the near future. already have a new bmw emblem..

I'd say an inch and a half or two inches
