I would like to put 18's on my bmw, might be a little much but ill find out.
with eighteens how wide can i go with out rubbing. would like front and back tires the same.
and i know i'll be riding on rubber bands But whats the numbers cuz i can't find a stright answer

there isn't a straight answer, it depends on the offset of the wheels, the size of the tires, and what ride height you are at

You should try searching there are a few useful threads out there. I know because I am also looking to upgrade wheels. I'm going to stick with 17's because they are lighter and are easier to work around fitment. But you can run 18's (correct offset of around 40) with 225 wide tires without rubbing as far as I know on a stock suspension. If you go wider you'll probably have to roll your fenders. Hope this helps.
