Hello All,
I purchased a new strut bar for my E36 M3 from Eric at Rally Road. When the bar was ordered my expectation was somewhat reserved because not too many items ordered looks as good in person as on the website especially since this is new on the market. To my surprise the bar looks like jewelry see actual pictures. The item was delivered as promised and communication through the process was great.
Since this purchase experience, I have ordered their front and rear brake brackets Porsche/Brembo calipers, brake lines, shift boot, and hand brake boots. I will update post as these other items arrive and the service remains as expected.

Agreed, I really looks nice.
I don't have the BBK setup right, that's why I ordered their kit. It comes with the brackets front and rear for the upgrade and front and rear 4 piston calipers. I find it a lot cheaper it going this way.
Unfortunately it's not ASC friendly. However I really don't use it. The car spends a fair amount of time on the track with ASC usually off.

Most of all I love how the plates conform to the shock towers. I'm actually thinking of selling my Mason bar and buying that one.
Thanks for sharing

that bar looks nearly identical to the OE BMW Motorsport bar that I have under the hood of my own car. The bar is one of the most functional ever produced but is unfortunately NLA, nice to see it resurrected in the aftermarket!
OP, remove your ASC throttle body and replace the intake boot with one off of a non-ASC model like a '98 Mcoupe/roadster. if you're not going to be using the ASC then get rid of the restriction that it causes in your intake path.

Good point on the ASC. I will go and get one.
Thanks,

That's exactly what I said the first time seeing it. I received my shift boot and hand brake boots yesterday. The look equally impressive. The brake setup should be here today. Hopefully they will be equally impressive.

I just put this on a few weeks back. It's a bit of a pain to get everything lined up with a CAI (ok, I did it in the dark holding a flashlight), but worth it.

I bought this bar also and it is a major improvement over the OEM piece, the bar is chrome molly and the adjusters are all stainless steel so they wont round out like the oem aluminum adjusters. the plates are CNC'd aluminum and there are subtle details on this bar that the oem does not have such as the tear drop cut out by the allen head adjuster so you can easilly get an allen wrench in there without scratching the crap out of the plate. Also the plates are anodized not painted and the bar is powdercoated vs oem one that is painted and chips.... this is a great piece at a good price. Very high quality, the oem bolts actually fit it and are available thru ECS....

I bought the non-ASC-T boot and the proper hose to connect to the ICV, makes installation easier. Don't forget the resistor to fool the ABS. My Sparco clears the ASC-T but interferes with my DS washer nozzle.

Currently they only have 1 model for the E36, non ASC. I have no idea if they have plans on doing one for ASC cars.

It better be good for $395 dollars.

^Better than paying $750 for the Motorsport bar.

+1 to Brent 930
Also, in my opinion it could sell for $395 and still be worth it. The quality is that good. Do look at the website again to get the correct price.
