Anyone have any experience with these tires? Tire rack has a close out on them for 79 each. The Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec in comparision would be $116 each.

This would be street only tire but I really don't want something below par with a humm just because of its price point. Let me know your thoughts.

I have heard about the road noise, but the grip and handling you get from the tire I think outweigh the dunlops for that price. And the KDW is suppose to be quieter than the KDW2. tirerack has a $60 amex gift card if u buy before the 24th.

The star spec has higher grip. It is a softer tire. Go with it if you plan in the future to autocross or track HPDE. If you are doing KDW new tread design they will get loud after a while if you are have more negative camber from lowered suspension or anything of the sort. They get pretty bad pattern wear noise over time due to the large tread block and g-wedge insert in the sidewall. I personally like the G-force sport tire. Higher tread wear and good grip and the price is going to be around what you are looking at there.
