I know there are some minor differences in the suspension setup between the 95 and 96 -99 E36 M3, however I found a couple of threads with comments that seemed to indicate running 8.5 wheels is problematic on the 95. Can anybody provide some clarification on this? I was planning to run 17" x 8.5" all around 44mm offset and wanting to go with 245/40 tires. I know that I've seen people running this type of setup although I have no idea if it was on a 95 or later M3. My stocked setup currently is squired 7.5" Contours. Any input would be appreciated.
