ive had the car since december with regular maintence, oil, rotors, pads, sensors, cai, wheels rims, along with checking other things. but i would love to drift it. the only thing is i am aware of the subframe cracks and right now i dont really want to cage my car. i was looking into this reinforcement kit http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=TDR4675412 but right now i have a full spare set of rims and wheels and would love to practice before going to a track event. also it would take a while before i could install the reinforcement kit depending on its arrival and such. so is there anything else major i must look for before trying to drift my car? ive also looked at the rtab's and other bushings that look to be in pretty decent shape and have a while longer before changing them out. any help though would be appreciated. i know ive seen some people drift non-m e46's but would like to know what there info is on the car :) thank you for your help.

well looks like i need to also find a LSD since my car has a open Diff. goign to have to go to junkyards and check some out and also maybe look at after market ones.

Get the full reinforcement kit (i am). You would need an aftermarket LSD since the only LSD offered for e46s is that for the M3 which does not work with non-Ms. Here is a well known e46 325i to get some ideas off of, http://andysapp.com/ .
