For sale is a set of 4 BBS Style 5 (2 piece) Light Weight BBS rims for e36 offset. They were an option on the European 328 IS coupe. I personally Have never even seen another set for sale, except for this thread that had them for $1800 I'm selling mine for....$1200-->$1100-->finally: on eBay now item number 260585770788 bidding starts at $650, 2 tires are shot and 2 are in good condition, they're included with the sale. wheels are in original condition so there is slight clearcoat peeling.....(pretty minty for 14yr old wheels)

staggered? can tell.
No they are not staggered, but putting two of these on the front with the normal/common style 5 in the rear would have a pretty agressive look.

You also would not need to use hubcentric rings to mount these on an e36.

or just swap lips with e39 lips, which is something I've considered

Correct me if I'm wrong, but these are 2 piece wheels so you have center plus barrel only. Cannot swap just lips...

You are correct. You can not interchange lips.

wait no, I would think you could switch lips? ....arent the faces the same dimensionally where it meets with the lip?

Yes. Same exact faces. 2 piece wheel.

Yes, but the lip / barrel are one piece, so essentially you would just end up with a normal e39 +20 offset style 5. The only difference would be that you would not have to use hubcentric rings, which are cheap anyways. With the exception of the hub bore, I beleive the centers on both the high offset and low offset style 5's are exactly the same.

Actually there is a difference. If you take a RC090 face and set it on a table next to a RC041 face you will see the the et41 mounting area is about 2mm thicker than that of the RC090...

My staggered set i swapped the faces from front to rear yielding a

17x7.5 ET39
17x8 ET 22
