View Full Version : Kumho Ecsta MX unusual wear

Anyone have any issues with the ecsta mx's wearing badly?

I've got a set of 275/35/18's and they are down to the wear bar in the middle but the outer strips look like they haven't been driven on.

I had the car aligned (factory specs) when they were put on about 5k miles ago and inflated at 35psi.

Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

Even in a stock M5, youre going to have some camber at all four corners making no matter what your contact patch more towards the inside of the tire. The only thing that could counter balance this is over inflated tires or possibly stretched tires (which im assuming youre not doing as you have 275s on what i believe is an 8.5" wheel.)

The 275's are mounted on the rear which is a 9.5" rim.

The inner and our strips show almost no signs of wear but the middle strip is at the wear bar.
