I am doing a Koni upgrade this weekend, and you need to modify the stock front strut housings, so if someone has an old set of stock 1995 M3 struts laying around I would pay you something to take them off of your hands.

I need them by this weekend the 3rd / 4th. Thanks!

Thanks man, but I am going to be doing the upgrade this weekend, I just hate to have to drill out and chop up my stock struts, because its a one way ticket! No going back to the stock units once you take a die grinder to the collars of the shock shafts! Kind of a stupid and cheap design on koni's part. If I knew this was the way konis were I would have bought Bilsteins!

So it looks like I have to fly to Chicago this weekend, so no suspension install for me. I might take you up on those fronts. Assuming the housings are in good shape!

Let me know soon. If I pull them and can ship them over the weekend, you should have them by mid to late week!!

Shoot me a PM if you want to discuss further

Imho, the Koni's are bliss.

Three day's ago, I did the Koni inserts and what a difference.

the Koni's have such a plush ride, firm and well behaved.

Though my stock struts were over 5 years old, the koni's control of wheel movement is first class. I got them in the back too; these shocks are so smooth and I have yet to move them from full soft. Hit the corners and get ready for a solid and smooth arc. My M3 has >100k miles on the stock suspension , stock wheels, fresh Pilot Sport PS2's.
