Ok, here's the scenario, when I hit "certain" bumps in the road at approximately 80-100km/h the car will vibrate violently, the only way to stop it from vibrating is braking.

All the steering arm components are fine, they're all tight. thrust arms replaced, idler arm replaced etc.. I think everything under there has been changed.

Someone thought maybe my shock is blown because it appears that there's some oil leaking, but would it cause these symptoms?

Where is the vibration coming from? Front or back?

Check the wheels?

feels like front.. it only happens when I hit certain bumps, otherwise its smooth.

You've changed the Control Arms too? (aka the "Lower" control arm...the one that's mostly straight)

It sounds like a bushing IMO...

I've been reading up on it as much as I could find and haven't found a cure...but most suggestions are shocks.

That sucks man...I didn't enjoy taking apart the front strut assemblies in my E34, bit of a PITA.
