Perfect Offset for e36?

I just want to know what is a good ET for making the wheels flush to the fender for an e36. I will be using spacers to make my wheels flush. My wheels are 40-42mm ET. Would like 25-30mm ET be flush? :help

it really depends on your tire size. best way is to measure the gap between the outermost point on the tire and the innermost edge of the fender. the amount of space there is the max size spacer you can get which will subsequently make your wheels flush

My tires are 215/40/18 and the wheels are 18x8. But thanks for the suggestion. I'll try measuring that gap.
