So after an extensive tune-up,like new head, new head gasket, new water pump, new fan clutch, new radiator. My car is still eating fluid. Its been a month since i did all this stuff and I filled the radiator fluid all the way. now I barely have any in there. whats causing this problem?

Check water pump. If water is slowly going away and there is no evidence. New water pumps can leak, I had the same problem and it was a new waterpump.I doubt that it would be the heater core unless you are smelling a sweet smell inside the car and can feel the carpets slightly wet and sticky.

Might have had lots of air in the system and it's slowly purging itself. At least that is what I would hope for, very possible to.

^^ Agreed. Sounds like you have air in there, might want to start figuring out by bleeding the system and see what happens.

Did you pump up the system? If you have an external leak that will show you where it is. Also pull the plugs. If it is getting into a cylinder it will bleach the plug tip white.

I had a massive leak in my expansion tank and no matter how much fluid got lost the needle would still stay in the middle. Find you where it's coming from first, I had alot of trouble so I bought some coolant dye at an auto parts store, it glows green under UV light. That made the location of the leak really obvious. But for some reason it made all the coolant neon green after a while, and even an drop somewhere in the engine bay is really noticeable.
