I was approached by someone at a shop and told me that he would sell and install a nitrous system in the car for 375 it's a brand new Nos Sniper nitrous system for a 75 shot. What I want to know if it's safe. I have a 328i automatic it's powered by a S52 on a 328 ecu it's stock along with the nitrous I also get a active autowerke intake kit just want to know if it's safe

I would imagine that it would eat your transmission fairly quickly. 375 installed for a brand new kit is very cheap, sounds fishy.

Eh, I would stay away from that imo. I forsee a "installing a headgasket" thread in the near future.

i say only install nitrous if u drag or have a use for it..otherwise it'll only lead to problems

def pass dude...sounds from your post, it doesn't sound like you were really even shopping for it when they tried to sell it to you. and your auto probably won't appreciate the extra strain.

why do you have a 328 ecu on an s52 motor? seems like u should be using the money to upgrade that
