View Full Version : Need some advise about selling rims!

Ok here is the deal. I was given a set of used racing dynamics rims and I have been trying to sell them in the wheels and tires forum. No luck. Anyone have any ideas where would be a good place to list them? The rims will only fit 5 series and up. Is there any 5 series specific websites to list them on or maybe bmw car clubs that have a classified section. Please help they are taking up too much room in my garage and I can't get my baby in there!

www.turner.com is a great place but have you thought about www.ebay.com :dunno:

yeah I thought about selling them on ebay but the rims are really kick ass and I'm not asking a lot for them, I would really prefer to sell them to a boardmember or an enthusiast (spelling???). I know money is money. Then again if no one wants them I guess ill have to go the ebay route.

Try including some more technical detail in your post besides just saying fits "E39".

16" or 17" or 18"??

7" wide...or 9.5" wide or what?

Offset +20mm or +26mm etc

All four same size or staggered etc

A pic doesn't give anybody the basic info needed.

The reason none of that information is in this post is because the rims are posted for sale in the wheels and tire section. I did not want to plaster every forum with my "for sale" ad. After several weeks in the wheels and tire section I still didn't have the rims sold so I wanted to get some advice from some guys in the 5 series forum about where they may search to buy rims.

If you, or anyone else would like more information I would be more than happy to provide it.

those are sweet rims.. not sure why no one has jumped on them yet. If I didn't have my style 5's I would jump at these just to have them around.
