I've never seen an E39 in a race of any sort, but sure, at HPDEs/schools they are there all the time. I'd be curious about someone who actually races one, do you know who/where/what class/etc?

I've taken my car onto Rockingham's track during a SCCA PDX and VIR for the skid pad. I posted a HUGE thread about the track experience here : http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1081130

I now have an E30 which is my DD/Track car.

( I passed them all :D. Didn't get passed once that day either. There was a JCW Mini, 350Z, Z4 and Fox body stang among others). Rockingham fit the 540i pretty well. Very cool, look at all of those E39s. That's obviously not in the US. What series is it?
