window stuck

so i took my car to the shop today and for some reason they put all the windows down, now for some reason my drivers window wont fully go up on my 99 528i. it can still go down but just wont go up all the way and gets stuck.i dont want to just rip the panel off because i dont know what im doing and i dont want to break anything.
If anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate it.

Is there any certain way to get the panel off or does it just pop off pretty much?

there is a screw behind the door handle - you'll see the plastic cap.

I think there may be another under the window switches; but, after that, the door just pops off.
