I know it's rare to hear but I had a good experience with a BMW dealer here in Atlanta yesterday. I was leaving on a 5 hour drive and when I hit a red light getting ready to get on the interstate my Check Control light came on and the message on the OBC was Brake Light System. The nearest dealer to me at the time was Chris Imports so I decided to go there to see what the problem was. I figured it was a brake light bulb had gone out but there was no way for me to check it by myself. I pulled into the service area and was greeted right away, I asked the guy to see which bulb was out so I could go to the parts counter. Of course all the bulbs were working, I think geez here we go. The advisor calls a service tech out right away. He checks all the bulbs anyway and announces that it has to be the brake light switch. To make a long story short, they put my car right into the service area, relace the switch and I am gone in about 45 minutes from the time I pulled in the service area. To top it off, it was all under warranty luckily as I went over the 50,000 miles on the way home today. It's nice to know that there are still some good dealers out there. BTW, this was my first experience with Chris Imports service dept.

BMW of Nashville is superb in service, customer rapport, and earns high marks for being a great place to waste time and drink their great coffee. Plus, they let me do the crossword puzzle at the receptionist desk.

Chris Motors is my dealer of choice here in Atlanta. They have been courteous, and knowledgeable since day one. Definitely one of the good guys.
